Just another thought... it could also be directed toward the whole mess with the Catholic Priests ("feast in the temple") I do not know when these lyrics were written by ZAO so I'm not sure if this thought holds any water! |

The first impression that I get from these lyrics is that it's a song about repeat offenders (murderers, rapists, molesters, etc.) that get released into society after serving time in their "cage" only to hunt the weak again. The line "we let them go" seems to be a slap in the face of the judicial system that lets these "wolves" back into society. The main reason that I lean toward this conclusion is that ZAO addresses many civil & social topics in their writings and this would fit right in with the others |

Red pill? Blue pill? I LOVE the Matrix intro into this song! It sounds as if the singer's venting some righteous anger because this person, Tyler, still refuses to believe that drugs are screwing him up and that he can find truth in Christ. I like these lyrics because they're not sugar-coated. Straight forward and brick-in-the-face. |

WOW! I just came from the "Abortion is Murder" discussion and this is a breath of sweet, fresh air! I'm more of a hardcore listener but this song, as well as many other P.O.D. offerings, make me smile when I'm down. Their lyrics are honest & straight forward and I respect them for that, regardless of what is thrown at them. Hey nowocke! I agree! I've seen P.O.D. live three times and was able to talk with each one of them after each show. They are very down to earth and very genuine. |

| Man!, I must be WAY off! I originally interpreted these lyrics to be from the viewpoint of an unborn fetus facing life or abortion. I like the view of it being a song about not giving up, as octus falure mentioned. | |
