This is what the band said about this song on their Facebook: "The story of the album in a lot of ways is about not being able to let go and learning to realize when enough is enough. This song really speaks to that. At the end of the day, it’s about toxic relationships and toxic situations that feel good in the moment and feel right, but ultimately are causing way more harm than good. Since this is so early in the record, it really sets up where the character is at the beginning of the album. It speaks to the fact that they’re falling and it’s going to take quite some time to dig themselves out." |
