| I felt this song was Katniss' feelings as she left Prim or vice versa. In the first book, Katniss says she sang lullabies to Prim when she was younger. Likewise, It could also be about Rue, as Katniss sings to her as she died. This song really does show the sadness of loss, and the feeling that comes with the knowledge they will be safe. It hits its mark quite well, especially after reading many a series like this one. | |
