I think it's about a man who lost the joy of life (the car radio) and is just driving a bland life (the car). He tried to use distractions to have the joy back, but in the end he is less happy than before. He ponders why he even cares anymore and about who stole his joy (work, etc...). He continues increasingly thinking more about this (the loud instrumental bit), begins to cool down, and goes back to where he originally started, after presumably arriving at his destination. Death is the destination. He is pondering who stole his joy whilst he dies. |
