Typically decent lyrics by Neil, but musically.....
The verses always reminded me of "The Land Down Under" and the choruses sound influenced by the Police's "Wrapped Around My Finger". |

Good lyrics, as usual, but musically the song sounds like it would've felt more at home on the "Hold Your Fire" album (actually, I always thought the only great tunes on this album's second side - musically - were "Ghost of a Chance" and "Neurotica"). |

I agree with Digitalman - my only criticism with the album is the thin sound, beginning with the choruses on "Show Don't Tell" - sounds like there's something missing. Also the section leading up to the solos on that song sounds too much like '80s Heart (as does entire songs on the album). |
