This song is written for Achilles. Agnamenmon wrongfully takes Achilles’ prize, a woman. The woman, a prize Achilles loved*, in effect moved on and thats when the heartache for Achilles’ started. Graham is telling Achilles to find catharis in the anagnorisis that what is going down is he needs to get back home. In what context is Graham telling Achilles to remember better days? What does ‘chasing mirrors through a haze’ mean? I know its nowhere close to the answer. I’m a beginner. |
