@[lol798:27704] Why undeveloped countries? Have you never looked, American, in your own backyard as they say? Do you pay attention when you walk down the street? Or are you like the man Phil talks about - the person who crosses the street & starts whistling too embarrassed & ashamed to admit what you see? He isn't talking about undeveloped countries, after all, you twit. He's talking about embarrassingly *shameful* people like you. Shameful people who would rather help everyone else than the people sitting right in front of them. Shameful people who say they are doing "good things" but it costs them nothing except a few bucks donated to a person you'll never meet face to face. Shameful people who will never talk to these people, will never learn their stories except mass produced recycled stories without any individualism. Shameful people who will never gain an emotional connection with the poorer off. Shameful people who will never work in a soup kitchen or a homeless shelter because they'd rather not get their hands "dirty". That is what Phil is talking about. Shameful people who ignorantly ignore, will even say there's "nothing wrong", about that homelessness & poverty is rampant in their own country and other so-called "developed" countries. |
