Religion and it's relationship to greed by means of violence and war. Plain and simple. "Muscle and hate" may be referring to societys Patriarchal dominance, male dominance and toxic masculinity. "Join in the chant" is exercising the ability to make others aware of the bullshit our society is based on. |

It's just nihilistic poetry up to the listeners interpretation. It could have different meanings for everyone. To me it suggests disappointment with mankind, "God", and the world. Also maybe a little sexual inadequacy but that's not the first thing that came to mind. |
