@[Christopher1974:31805] Yes, but writing itself is a sexual metaphor here, I guess. When he says 'My quill it aches' I believe he is not actually referring to writing tools. Probably 'Turn loose the swans' is the most poetic way to say 'get naked'. |

Maybe the chorus isn't about the tower of Babel at all but rather about god himself, or rather about the image of god as made up by men: Having been built up for centuries in Christian tradition, it is now time to tear it down - just as the tower of Babel has been torn down by God, as told in the biblical report. |
