Maybe it’s about mushrooms, or rather, magic mushrooms. No food or water, between the roots of a tree trunk, and placing it on their tongues. The bringing together of men of faith and science to see heaven on earth. The general mysticality of it, not to mention the wide eyes theme and amazement. These sound like reference to the way mushrooms grow and give an ethereal experience to its users. Just a thought. |
