How do i explain how beautiful this song is! As if someone’s has put a piece of his ripped heart while writing this! To me, this song is about a guy who is madly in LOVE with this girl. They were in a relationship that lasted for a short time. He lost her somehow & he regrets it badly. From the very beginning he knew he’s gonna loose her but still he chose to love her. I feel, the moment she’s gone, haunts him again & again. It keeps hurting him. He feels as if the nature, the existing things around him are mourning this loss with him... To me, In this song, the guy is madly in love with a girl. He craves for her & her love that is HOME to him. He’s really happy to have her but still he’s missing the feeling of being at home, feeling of belonging. As if she’s not there in spite of being with him. He feels something isn’t right but for the sake of his LOVE for her, he wants to take things easy ignoring all the negative thoughts. He wants the girl to help him in this. He wants to be on the same page with her & thinks it was destined for them to be together even before they were born.
