@[JoBjo00:27148] I don't think so, because "Today she's been working, she's been talking, SHE'S BEEN SMOKING" with "Today she's been sat there, sat there in a black chair, office furniture" thus negating possibility of doctor visit/consultation. In an addition, From first verse; "Today she's been working" to "We're going out tonight, out and about tonight. Oh, whatever makes her happy on a Saturday night," Taking it literal that she is often required to perform long-hours / shift / permanent weekends work. As if it is a one-off, the partner wouldn't need to provide her with multiple sorts of de-stress methods. One step further, IF the work is taking a toll on her, it may strain the current relationship with the partner thus it makes sense that he wants to reinforce their relationship with "fun" / numbing activities to release her burdens. |

| Song is having a take on the generation (back then). However it can be replayed with a hindsight perspective as part of a growing up journey; reminiscing back to the time whether one would be part of bands / gangs etc in which the experience is still indeed unique / beautiful regardless. | |
