| Now 82, I first heard this song as a young child. It had an immediate effect on y that has not faded. I used to have a recurrent dream of walking hand in hand towards a golden Disney-like sunset. The best recording I know is by the late, great, Kenneth McKellar. Well worth the hearing. Since I had the wonder of 30+ years of love with my late wife, I cannot listen without tears of joy and sadness. | |
