This song may obviously have different interpretation to different people but to me, it's about suicide. It's about feeling lost in your own mind ("Getting lost within myself") and empty. It's about missing the old, the happy, and the hopeful version of yourself ("missing one inside of me" | "I was me but now he's gone "). It's about forgetting how it feels to be happy or even how it feels to feel ("Yesterday seems as though it never existed"). This song was so relatable for me once that I was going to write its lyric in my suicide note. This is my most favourite song of my most favourite band and I will never get tired of hearing it. |
