| Funny. I always imagined this song to be about a guy walking drunkenly home and then dealing with the hangover. It professes an assertive attitude ("I'm well enough alone") but sarcastically downplays this "That is what I tell myself as I _stumble_ home". During this nightly walk he sees a homeless person and then continues on, given he is drunk, a long remaining journey. Fast forward next morning, he sits and stares for hours as he's dealing with a hangover. | |
