| This is about 2 people that love each other but can't be together. The song doesn't explain why but I like to think that they are both in relationships but have fallen in love with each other. So the main person in the song is going to tell the other person that they can't be together or be friends.The song goes on to describe the emotions that follow when you love someone but cant be with that person.
