| I posted a comment a while ago thinking it was about a disfunctional family. But now I’m starting to think it’s more about being born into a cruel unforgiving world as each generation after the other gets worse. And this is happening strongly due to the people we grow up with. | |

| I think it’s about fear of how everything will turn out in the end. No matter what you do, you can never know how it will end. Happiness is worth the hard work but what’s the point if all that hard work didn’t bring happiness? The end is a scary thing. That’s the best way I can explain. I’m pretty sure it’s about growing up in a bad house hold. “What can you do? Where can you go? When your momma is a burnout And your daddy is a pyro” A pyro is someone who likes to start or play with fire. Dad causes problems, mom’s a burnout. I think of a burnout mom as wrestles, busy, sick of dealing with the kids, no longer loving her husband, the “pyro” dad. “'Cause they just want to light it on fire And they just want to let it all burn” ^^^pretty self explanatory “Set fire to the family tree”, I think that’s still talking about growing up in a bad household |
