Some of these lyrics are incorrect so I've made some changes. Lets see if they are accepted. I really think that this version of the song is more honest than the album version. I feel like Mangum hid his meanings under a few veils of abstraction and since the song was still in construction when this was recorded we get a deeper insight into what these words really meant to Mangum before he polished it for the album. Of course I could be wrong, but I think of all his songs "Two Headed Boy Part 2" is (or was) the most special to him. |
