If abortion is the core of the song, I think the perspective of a survived abortion attempt could make sense. I've still got all my fingers but somewhere I lost my mind. I am still alive and whole... But knowing I was born already wanted dead has left me somewhat estranged from reality to a degree. Just a thought |
