The songwriter considers songs as fallen angels, lost ones. Composing a song seems to him like fishing. His normal way is to first find a perfect name for the song, but here he does not find a name. The song will get the name Nemo, no name. The fallen angel needs an honest heart of the songwriter as a compass to return to home, to the sky. "This is me for forever One without a name These lines the last endeavor To find the missing lifeline" the last hope of this song angel to return to life is the lines of the songwriter. "Oh how I wish For soothing rain All I wish is to dream again My loving heart Lost in the dark For hope I'd give my everything" Soothing rain is the creativity of the songwriter. He should dream a melody, but it seems difficult. "My flower, withered between The pages two and three The once and forever bloom gone with my sins" On pages 2 and 3 on his notes the melody disappeared, so still not good. "Walk the dark path Sleep with angels Call the past for help Touch me with your love And reveal to me my true name" These are the methods the songwriter uses for inventing songs. He tries to find the real name, the real character of the song. I think the lyrics is about composing a song. The lyrics talks about finding a hiding amaranth (red flower) and in the video boys find a fallen angel, who then flies to the sky. "Baptized with the perfect name The dawning won by heart Alone, without himself" The songwriter starts by finding a name, then invents the start from heart, not consciously. "War between him and the day With someone to blame In the end lil he can do alone" The song does not want to come out to the daylight and as the writer has to ask others of the band to assist, he usually will blame someone of them. "You believe on what you see You receive on what you give" He writes the melody on notes to see it and must add ideas there "Caress the one That never-fading rain In your heart To tears of snow-white sorrow" The never-fading rain is his creativity, and add feeling there. "There is the one That hiding Amaranth In the land of the day-brave" OK, you got the song, hiding Amaranth, to the daylight. In the video the composer finds the angel (the theme) and the hairy guys of the band come to set the stuff on fire, so finally the angel flies to the sky. "Apart from the wandering path In this brief flied up time We reach for the ones who ever dare" Apart from this wandering path of composing a song, he appreciates help from those band members who have ideas. |

| Maybe the song does not mean anything, but let us say it is from old Cuban lore, only that there is no Cuban lore of Chan Chan and Juanica that I know, but there is Cuban lore (Abakua secret society and religion foundational myth, it has much influence on Cuban music) of Eribangando and Sikan. All were looking for the Voice everywhere but it could not be found. Sikan, the princess, and Efi prince were lovers. She went to get water and found the Tanze fish, the Voice, incarnation of the high god Abasi. Ceiba (jiba, sieve in the song) is a tree, another incarnation of the high god. She made wrong and told her lover. She was sacrificed, the lover become sad. Eribangando cleared the path to the sacred tree Ukano Bekonsi. It is not clear if Eribangando was the lover, but he saved Sikan from a snake, had great love for her. This is a rather similar story, else what means clear the path and go to sit on the tree trunk? | |
