I don\'t think this song is about suicide at all. It\'s just about alcoholism and what young people go through to be seen as \'party-people\'. The next day they feel like sh*t, but at the time they just keep drinking to blot out their insecurities. Swinging from the chandelier is something a drunk person would do but not a sober one. Awesome song. Awesome voice! |

@[imagodoc:28834] Roland was actually named Raoul for the first 2 weeks of his life before his parents anglicised his name to Roland as they were living in England.

I think Roland gets the last laugh. 'Fish Out of Water' is a killer track, whereas 'Sun King' is pretty average. Roland was always the better songwriter in Tears for Fears. |
