IMHO it sounds like a song about future Anarchy here in America
or some sort of revolution in the country, all the masses rioting in the streets. and freedoms are sold and we just take up space in the system and when they government is done with us they cut us loose. And i think it’s also talking about how our country always lets us all down and there is nothing we can do about it because they have us all back up to the wall. basically all our Freedoms are good for nothing with all the corrupt hypocrites in the gov and it doesn’t make any sense. we occupy the system to pay for their lifestyle and we live in a day in the death mankind. lol that's my opinion, lol I hope it makes sense I’m stoned and i don’t care, damn your government, love this song and the solo is awesome. well that’s my thoughts anyways, on the lyrics but i’m sure someone will say i’m wrong and that’s cool, just wanna know what you people think, the lyrics mean to you, thanks |

Testament's guitar player Alex is a guitar shredder and rules and didn't get any appreciation or popularity from the fans or from any one like Metallica did. and i think Metallica rocks, my 4th or 5th favorite bands, and Kirk is another awesome guitar player, but in my honest opinion, he has nothing on Alex S. Alex would leave Kirk in the dust with out a doubt! and this is for examples only not being religious or being religious but for my example it refers to a bible story told to me once ok, Alex is God for example and Kirk would be the son of God, like the good book says, God is the father and Jesus is the son, well Alex is the main Guitar god and well Kirk would be the son Jesus, lol that's how bad ass Alex is at playing guitar, hands down the best guitar player whoever lived, and this is one hell of a song, and in my opinion, it is talking about an America that has been and always will be corrupt because we the people are so blind and brain washed by all the lies and propaganda we see on media to see and keep voting for these idiots, WAKE AMERICA open your Eyes! the souls of black are those politicians in D.C. this is an awesome song and whether or not they got it from the bible or the movie it still takes talent to compose and write lyrics like that. No need to argue and if they are born again Christians more power to them, who are we to judge and they have the right under the constitution of the US Government to the right of religion, freedom of speech etc, this idea for this song from a movie or a bible it makes no difference to me it's a badass song and these guys will forever rock! |
