| After listening to the song a couple times I realized it’s talking about Bipolar Disorder, in which someone’s personality is split into manic and depressive. The lyrics “deciding where to fight and deciding where to die” are talking about manic episodes versus depressive ones. The other lyrics may be hinting at how, just like with other mental health disorders but especially this one, “hiding all my problems” is easier or just better than facing it. It also seems to tell how someone close finding out about the disorder is scary and makes you feel like you “lost your halo” and you need help and for someone to come “find you.” | |
