@[quiffporn:32088] Bruh, Tom went to a fucking performing arts school growing up. He grew up loving performing & singing. He was writing songs long before he started the band with Danny & the other 2. If he didn't care about being in the band, he wouldn't be in it. Simple as that.
Danny, Dougie, & Harry also love making the music. If you want an explanation as to why the songs don't come off as super serious as Breaking Bad, it's because they were teenagers who were having FUN! Seriously, if you, for 1 second, listened to their first album & expected a serious band right at the start, you're a fucking idiot. I can also tell you didn't check out any of their subsequent albums because you'd fucking eat your words with Wonderland, the next album after this one where they took themselves more seriously.
On to point #2. McFly were STILL around by the next year after you fucking wrote that comment, then the next year, then the one after that, then another 7. They took a hiatus, but are now gearing up for album #6 by releasing songs they recorded over half a decade ago finally. Each time, their albums were INCREDIBLY successful with fans & got better reception with critics. They also had great turn outs at their live shows from what I can tell, so so much for being a flash in the pan, eh? Fuck you. |

Oh god, how much of a trainwreck this album is. It's only dark in a minisule sense of the word, the lyrics are mostly bad (this song's good though), it's an entirely different style than they're know for or were comfortable with (an no, it's not a good stylistic change), it was released on terrible label Fueled By Ramen, & it makes absolutely NO sense why the diehard fangirls are supporting it as much as they are (which is a very small amount of the fans by the way). All Time Low have lost their way with this album & seriously need to realize that before they fade into obscurity because of the fact that they now sound like every other bland modern Pop band out there. |

Listen to their original version of the song. BFS' version is a cover, stupid. Check the songwriting credits. BFS' cover adds Jaret's name while SR-71 only credited Mitch Allen & his brother as writing the song. Jaret rewrote some of the lyrics, which is why he got a writing credit, but it's SR-71's song, dipshit. |
