These are not the lyrics for the NY Sessions version... here are a couple of examples of where he changed it up: "There's a lone soldier on the hill, watching falling raindrops pour." "Well I figured I lost you anyway, why go on? What's the use? In order to get in a word with you I'da had to come up with some excuse - it just struck me kinda funny." in the case of Idiot Wind, I think the alt version is better. |
