My first impression: The song is from the viewpoint of a rapist/stalker. It keeps switching from the past (nothing seems to penetrate her) to present (trembling at the thought of feeling.) Now though I can see where it can be about a girl who is wearing a mask for everyone around her, including herself. Baaaaaaa! |
