For me, it's about a man's love for the woman of his life...past, present, and future tense! The lyric 'I'll be coming home soon, to keep you satisfied'...pretty much says it all for me! This has been the theme song for our relationship, which in now approaching the one year anniversary mark. I am slow to move in a relationship, but if she is not the one...then there is NOT one for me! |

I believe he is talking about a relationship ending...either a close friend that has passed away or a failed relationship w/ a female where the went their separate ways, or she may have passed away. I think we can take it and apply it to our own life situation, whatever fits! 'Like the SCARS that heal yet never mend'...it's something that will leave a void for a very long time, possibly a lifetime! |
