Amazing song. Just a great end to the album. Lots of feel in this song. I can’t help but think of all the people who live with war in their life everyday. We are so blessed to not have to go to bed each night wondering if our town or village will be blown away. I hear this song from the perspective of one who has lived through that. They’ve armed their children. They’ve lost friends and neighbors. They’ve been injured. Truly a Hell on Earth each and every day. Yet, they find hope and peace in the promise of Heaven, where they will see those lost again. I love the guitar melody playing along with the lyrics. Love the solos. Love the anger in Bruce’s voice in the end. Just an amazing song. |

Ok, I’ve tried multiple times to correct these lyrics. For whatever reason the site will not update with my suggestions. Now my username is permanently tied to the trash mountain that are these incorrect lyrics. Oh well, I tried. |

Before I leave and go my way..... I love how the air raid siren that is Bruce’s voice kicks in right here. Gets me every time. That and “Seen your world and I got the shirt”. What a great lyric. Fun song. Not quite as heavy as the rest of the album but I look forward to this track when I listen to this album. Fantastic album altogether. |

No comments here yet? Awesome song on a fantastic album. This meaning is simple...this is about the Wright Brothers and their efforts to create flight at Kill Devil Hills, NC. I like how there is a little bit of sci-fi feel to this album and Bruce and Roy stop to nod back to the beginning. No space flight or exploration without this moment in history. |
