Jesus of suburbia, one of my favorite songs is about a boy who hates everything around him the album american idiot is a story about his life but this one song is almost a summary but a part one at the same time, this boy named jimmy thinks of himself as jesus of surburbia and green day got the name st. jimmy from Generation X 100 punks rule and they refure to jimmy as punk 101 the outsider of the punk community billie joe armstrong thought of himself as that considering his band wouldnt classify as punk as they wanted to and they cant be like every other punk cause they care about things and dont have the punk outlook on life. |
