I find it ironic that this entire album, especially this song and in the water essentially contradict his actions when the allegations against him grooming young girls came out. Listening to their music again you can see some of the hypocrisy and guilt he carries based on his actions. "don't come running to me when they're coming for you" and they came for Jesse. Just my thoughts personally. Ill always love their music but I feel for his victims. |

The end of this song is what my soul was looking for. The struggling with not feeling good enough and wanting to give someone your all and still feeling that it’s not enough. I love brand new’s ability to put emotion like that into words so eloquently. |

I think the “hide your daughters” line is extremely haunting knowing he was allegedly grooming barley teenagers. |
