I’m by no means an expert but here’s my take on it: I think this song is about one person (or possibly both people) who has been chasing her dreams, but is tired and losing faith. The song writer is trying to consol and support her in telling her that whether she keeps trying or she gives up, he will be there for her. He believes that as long as you have love, nothing else matters, so whatever she decides, he’ll be there with her every step. |
