Five Finger Death Punch – Far From Home Lyrics 7 years ago
I think of it as just from the bands perspective. The million stories and million broken dreams are form their listeners, all of us who value their music and relate to every song on a personal level. The far from home part is about not being able to feel safe, and just live. It’s like god is pushing them into stuff that is too much for them, and they are trying to take it back a notch. I know a lot of rock musicians and listeners are not heavily religious so I think it may connect to a god being against them. The first verse is most likely about the long days while they are on tour, and just running through the motions to please the crowd and everything goes the same each day. Just my thoughts on the song. But the soldiers may also be true because they are a band heavily involved with military and veterans.

Papa Roach – Born For Greatness Lyrics 7 years ago
I’m not completely sure, but I think it may have to do with the lack of recognition towards our true heroes. I also think it may be related to how older generations treat us younger kids, like us milennials and even Gen Z. I think it may go into the issue of how we are treated as issues to society, rather than the people who will take it over sometime soon. But I need to look into it more and hear other people’s thoughts about it.

Five Finger Death Punch – Under And Over It Lyrics 7 years ago
Alright, well the second line of the second verse “selling my souls and changing my name”. Did anybody else this of Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold, and Rockstar by Nickelback? Both are which about changing yourself and becoming famous, or about sin and all that? I feel like it’s a reference, or even a subtle clapback to those songs.
