@[Dammytte:25016] That is correct. Their dads were stationed at RAF Lakenheath in England. The song is about the 48th Security Police Squadron. I was stationed there as well in 1977-78. It was written during the Vietnam War. The Security Police were pretty proud of this song |

My husband, Paul was a huge Seger fan. After he passed away, this song came came to me in a dream. I hadn't really paid that much attention to the lyrics. I listened to it when I got up. It was like a message to me from him to go on with my life. That 8 years ago. Still gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it. |
