Well I think Melanie Martinez is saying you start caring. A lot. Before you can start explaining why you taking things so hard & why you fall apart, you start crying. Someone inside your head is turning on the faucet in your eyes, you're crying a lot, & everyone can see. "Your heart's too big for your body It's where your feelings hide" means you care so much about things & your feelings are growing & growing & your big feelings are bigger than your whole entire body. People start calling you "cry baby" but you don't care, you laugh through your tears, & since you don't care, your tears fall to the ground, & you just let them drop/drown (whatever Melanie said) to the ground. You then you lose all your friends, you tell yourself "it's their fault, not mine." You're a special person, and people do not understand. But your tears keep coming back again. People call her "cry baby" & she doesn't care & she laughs her tears like you do. Her tears fall to the ground and she likes them drown or drop like you do too. "Cry baby, cry baby" she just lets them drop/drown. "Cry baby, cry baby" you just let them drop. They call you "cry baby, cry baby" she just lets them drop. "Cry baby, cry baby" you just let them drop. |
