Michael Nesmith – Joanne Lyrics 6 years ago
Hmmm...I was under the impression that it was a cow, as a girl would not live "in a meadow by a pond". I could be wrong. If it was a cow, indeed, I am immeasurably touched. I mean, how many people write an ode to these deserving, gentle, docile beings who we literally milk dry and then, sadly, slaughter. :-(

Marty Wilde – Abergavenny Lyrics 6 years ago
One of my all-time favorite songs EVER! Got the 45. Wow! I would love to visit Abergavenny some day. Fabulous memories of 1969.

Gordon Lightfoot – Too Late For Prayin' Lyrics 7 years ago
One of the greatest, most moving, thought-provoking and haunting lyrics ever written by THE greatest musical icon from Canada. I am saddened and touched every single time I hear this classic. It angers me this song was never charted. Certainly Top 10 material. The whole album is the work of genius and one of my all-time favorite albums of all time. Heck, my young kids love the album, too! I wore out my vinyl copy, which I still have; so, I also got the CD. God bless Gord and Lenny Waronker.
