| This song is most likely about an eating disorder. Sonny even brings up his eating disorder on another track on the album (Waltz Moore). People suffering from eating disorders sometimes refer to it as Ana (anorexia) or Mia (bulimia), almost as if it were another person. (Remember the song "Ana's Song" by Silverchair, anyone?) I don't think there is an actual woman/man/person he's singing to. I think it's his eating disorder. | |
