| (I know I’m years late but wanted to add my thoughts) At first this song sounds like it is about a girl and a broken heart. I’ve heard theories that it is about the blinks split, but I took a different meaning from this. “A little something to take of the edge, a little more and we’ll fall of the planet.” “I’ll be there when you’re last breath’s taken away.” “In the dark when we both get carried away.” I believe this song is about misusage and addiction. When someone is addicted to drugs it’s like being in love and taking that drug away would cause “heartbreak”. And if you get too “carried away”, it very well COULD lead you to the point to where your last breath is taken away. And be there through the whole process. | |
