This song is, in my perspective, how difficult Chris feels to follow a normal life and keep a good behavior. No bullshit of army, politicians.. maybe in an first interpretation.. but as he says in the end of the song.. “there will be something good far away from here..” Outside all problems and it can be anything you want to name.. your family, government, life, earth, galaxy... I truly believe that most of his lyrics inspiration came out of depressive moments. |

It’s beautiful how a depressed mind can creat such wonderful lyrics. In my opinion Chris struggles in this song to understand or maybe accept himself in a mental illness condition.. Euphoria is a symptom of Bipolar Disorder. Chris allegedly experienced depression cycles in his life.. which can be part of a greater disease, maybe bipolar disorder.. maniac and depressive cycles. Drug addiction, self medication, self destruction feelings and suicidal ideation are symptoms of Bipolar Disorder.. Bipolar Disorder is the killer, not the drugs.
