| You all are missing something very important---the broken old neon sign that used to read jesus saves is above a homeless shelter in Wittier California. At the end of the block is a church that is very anti-gay (Bret is gay supportive). From the front door of the homeless shelter you can see multi-million dollar homes. That part is about income inequality, discrimination, and using god to endorse hate. Bravo to Poison for having the courage to stand up for equality. I met Brett briefly years later. I served him a drink. He is an amazing person. | |
