| @[Isambard:23922] sounded odd to me too. Remembering daddy going off to war in 1944 seems odd as well: his daddy would have been conscripted years before he remembered him. Whittaker's wikipedia entry doesn't even mention the North East, and he would have been living in Kenya in 1944 so perhaps we can't expect authenticity. | |
