My perfect rock bottom My beautiful trauma My love, my love, my drug, oh I think these lines sum up this song perfectly. Love isn't traditionally associated with destruction and devastation. Drugs, trauma, and hard times (rock bottom) are though. To consider something as horrific and devastating as trauma beautiful is nonsensical to the rational brain. Oxymoronic really, but I think that's what Pink's getting at with this song. Love is oxymoronic and doesn't make a bit of sense. |
