I love Lana so much. Her music is the only home for me, the only thing that raises me up from the dead and inspires me. Her music has helped and still will always help and has gotten me through so much. I would listen to her music and cry, scream, laugh, get high, and just pray. Just pray that things will be okay and the end and her music helped me through all of that. I love you Lana so much. |

I, uh.. This song really hits me for some reason. I feel like the singer has nothing to do with this... actually maybe about a boy and girl in a relationship that he finds very pure, but then again, my thought kind of falters on whether love really lasts hence his lines "true romance can't be achieved these days" but he sees that accomplished through the boy and girl. Although my own opinion is, how I interpret this song, is how low-standard and less committed relationships are getting, and how people today don't seem to really understand the true meaning of love.. but that's how i feel.. and when he says "you are the only ones who know" i guess he's saying the couple he sees are the only ones who know what true love is... but then again, that's just my thought. this song haunts me everywhere i go. it's beautiful, but it hurts. it really hurts and somehow hits home for me. i can't put it into words. not to be all sappy and stuff but this is the most melancholic song i've heard from arctic monkeys--as if alex turner isn't the equivalent of that already. |
