The song is about self destruction, in an effort to create some bargain with a force to be reckoned with - probably himself. And although such a disgraceful situation is at hand, he still aims to do it the most graceful way that he knows how - for it's all he's got. I feel that the lyrics are the things that either people actually think about him or what he thinks that they think about him. And I'm sure that it bothers him to a good extent either way. Enough so for him to lyricize in a song that he wants to be as authentic and original sounding as possible. So much for the safest vibe - tossed aside. |
