I believe this song is about how Chan can't stop drinking or knowing when she's had "enough" to drink. She even says in a line "The other half of me said I should Throw it down the drain" like she knows she should just pour the rest of the alcohol out. I've seen interviews of Cat Power and she has openly said she had a drinking problem. |
