i think it`s simple don`t belive everything you ,see, read, hear, it`s also about perception, no matter how much you`ve been taught or believe something something you know is real or true, somebody will always percieve it differently. We are human we should question everything. and sometimes it`s not just enough to trust or belive in something because your being told thats how it is, as this is how the world has come to this.. so if you believe they put a man on the moon, look again.. |

@[riprap:29637] i could see why people would think this peadophillic, but it isnt, ive loved this song for years and years and that never occured to me till i read this, little girl , baby girl etc are adult terms used in adult relationships, daddy possibly sugar daddy, or the girls husband or partner who isn`t worthy of her, and tha lyric again is skull not soul..he`s talking literal, about how much this is making his head hurt as he can`t switch off. |

@[RonSh:29636] the lyric is clearly "SKULL" not soul, he even pronounces the K, the chromatics version uses soul, but he is talking about the pain in his head that will not go away as he longs for this girl so much.. |

when gilmour was touring on an island and producing the live in gdansk album, he specifically told us in an interview that the song related to the struggle of the gdansk shipyard affair, we threw the locks on to the ground was a direct reference to this, he acutally met Lech Wałęsa on this tour, didn`t we all see this or is it mandela effect lol. |
