| Failure – Saturday Saviour Lyrics | 7 years ago |

This song is the personification of a substance and is written from the point of view of that substance. The substance is telling the abuser how it's going to be. The substance just wants to come and be with him on Saturdays. We all know how that works. Just one day a week. But hey, I'm not doing anything on Sunday so... well okay Monday. Then it's every day because... it's just so good. The substance will never say words or feel shame like the human abuser. It will never "stretch shape" or go out of it's way. The human will have to seek it out. All it needs is just one day. The human will never be satisfied. The substance will never feel pain and will never open up. The substance will never self destruct or break apart like the human. The substance will never long for life because it doesn't live, and will never push you out because you're not in. You will never be satisfied. You will never find that nirvana. |
