I am going to try to interpret what this song means. I may be a million miles off or spot on, but this is what I think: "This is the end Hold your breath and count to ten Feel the earth move and then Hear my heart burst again" She knows the world is ending as she's dying. She may be saying this to a loved one, or just saying it to herself, or to no one in particular. "For this is the end I’ve drowned and dreamt this moment So overdue I owe them Swept away, I’m stolen" She always wanted this to happen, because she knew how many terrible things were happening to the world. She says it was so overdue and she owed the Earth for letting her live, and help. And as she takes the last breath, her body is stolen. "Let the sky fall When it crumbles We will stand tall Face it all together Let the sky fall When it crumbles We will stand tall Face it all together At skyfall At skyfall" She is hoping the humankind will come together to face the end of the world together. No matter race, religion, sexuality, etc. we were supposed to stand together. "Skyfall is where we start A thousand miles and poles apart Where worlds collide and days are dark You may have my number, you can take my name But you’ll never have my heart" She means the end will start at a 'skyfall', and then talks about what other things might happen. She is talking about a 'lover' now, but she knows they won't have her heart because she will die. "Where you go I go What you see I see I know I’d never be me Without the security Of your loving arms Keeping me from harm Put your hand in my hand And we’ll stand" She's talking about the human race as a whole standing together, hand and hand, battling off the end of the world, all secure together. And by 'and we'll stand' she means it's the only way to survive. This is probably really weird XD |

Before we start, I'd like to say I heard: "Mary was following the love to the the London" Anyway, I think it means that someone was having trouble with something. Not just an injury or a worksheet, something like losing a family member. The beat, in all honesty, just sounds very depressing. |
