"Everybody's talking about the situation You know they all have a lot to learn" Everybody has heard about it and is giving their two cents, but they have " a lot to learn" because they don't know the full story. "Always digging up some information You get what you deserve" Either the girl, or the people talking about the break up are being nosy, and he thinks she got what she deserved. "Now i have some shoes and a big coat Have a car and a nice girl too" He moved on, he's over it and his life is better for it. |

| I've read a few of the comments here and I think people are focusing on the wrong lyrics. The song isn't about any specific subject that the song is describing here, "The high road is hard to find." For me, pretty much sums up the entire song, a lot of people turn to drugs, suicide, and any escape from reality in general because it's hard to live with a moral superiority. | |
