| I think this song is about the rooms of AA and NA. The line that 'you're a liar, you're a cheater, you're a fool just like me' speaks to the fact that everyone in the room is the same, you are no different. And there are a lot of assholes in AA who think they are 'better than' because they only drank and did not use drugs. The song also mentions not blaming others and looking at yourself instead of taking other peoples inventory. But what clinches it for me is the last line when he says' thank you very much for listening' which is something people say when they are done sharing. Just my humble opinion. | |
