I sang this song on Brian Hendersons Australian Bandstand about 1962 and I thought that the Yellow Roses meant that his daughter was pregnant! ('the boy that's done this thing".) It probably means that I should have researched it more. By the way, that show was the first TV appearance of the BG's! Jimmy Stewart. (Still alive at 77) thanks |
